2026 Privacy & Minor Skater Data Protection Policy

Effective Date: November 6, 2026 (Replaces Legacy `Privacy.htm` & Invalidated 2000 EU Safe Harbor Statement)

1. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA — 16 CFR Part 312)

Because figure skating clubs, Learn-To-Skate USA programs, and competitions serve minor athletes under the age of 13, EntryEeze NextGen enforces strict verifiable parental consent (`16 CFR § 312.5`). Minor athlete profiles (`USFS#`, `LTS USA#`, birthdates, test records, and competition music/PPC) can only be created and authorized through a verified parent/legal guardian family account. Parents may review, export, or permanently purge their child's PII at any time with 1 click.

2. Colorado Privacy Act (CPA — C.R.S. § 6-1-1301 et seq.) & State Consumer Rights

As an organization governed by the laws of the State of Colorado (Colorado Springs, CO), we provide all residents of Colorado, California (CCPA/CPRA), North Carolina, and all U.S. states the right to access, correct, delete, and export their personal data, and we never sell or share personal or minor athlete data with third-party ad networks.

3. International Transfers (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework & Canada PIPEDA)

Replaces the invalidated 2000 EU-U.S. Safe Harbor clause with the current EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and Canadian PIPEDA safeguards for Skate Canada clubs.
